Language Challenge 1: Writing Challenge

Over the next week, I invite you to engage in a writing challenge to help you practice your English skills while reflecting on your life, dreams, and memories. You’ll find prompts for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Choose the one that fits your level best.

Beginners

Day 1: Write a few sentences about where you want to be in 10 years. Where do you want to live? What job do you want? Who is with you?

Day 2: Write about a time you felt happy and calm. What were you doing? Who were you with?

Day 3: List three things you want to achieve in your life. Which one do you want to do first?

Day 4: Write about one thing you would change in your past. Why would you change it?

Day 5: Think of a happy memory from your childhood. Please write a few sentences about it. How does it make you feel?

Day 6: List three skills you have that would help you get a job.

Day 7: What would you choose if you could do anything in life? Write a few sentences about your dream life.

Intermediate

Day 1: Write a paragraph describing your vision for your life in 10 years. Include details about your location, job, hobbies, and important people in your life.

Day 2: Describe a moment when you felt completely content. What made you feel this way? How did it affect you?

Day 3: Write a list of five goals you hope to achieve. For each goal, explain which ones feel closer and which seem further away, and why.

Day 4: If you could change three things in your past that wouldn’t affect anything else, what would they be? Explain your choices.

Day 5: Describe your most nostalgic memory. What happened, and why is it significant to you? How does it make you feel now?

Day 6: Write about five skills that you believe are attractive to employers. Why are these skills important in the workplace?

Day 7: Imagine you have the money and freedom to choose your life. Describe what your day would look like, including your activities and goals.

Advanced

Day 1: Write about where you would like you to be in 10 years. Where do you live? What job do you picture having? What do you do in your spare time? Who is closest to you and in your life?

Day 2: Write about a time in your life when you felt completely content and at peace with things in your life.

Day 3: Write a list of things that you hope to achieve in your life. Which ones seem closer and which ones seem further away?

Day 4: If you could change 3 things in your past that didn’t affect other events in your life, what would they be?

Day 5: What is the most nostalgic memory you can think of? How does it make you feel?

Day 6: What are your 5 most appealing skills to an employer that you would show on your resume?

Day 7: If you had the money and freedom to choose what you would do in life, what would it look like?

Take your time with each prompt, and don’t worry about making mistakes. The goal is to express yourself and improve your writing.
